KitchenAid Food Processor
To be completely honest I never had any intention of buying a food processor but my boyfriend decided one night that it was just in the cards for me to get this wonderful kitchen device. I never really thought that I would put in too much time on this kitchen gadget, but in all honesty, it has saved me a couple hours in the kitchen since I got it.
It looks very nice when all set up on my counter top, ready for me to slice and dice my unlimited amount of veggies I am ready to prepare for my next meal. This thing has honestly helped me out more than I ever thought it would.
There is a number of great attachments that come with the box and I haven’t gone through all of them but still most of them.
It has the full 11 cup bowl and a mini 3 cup bowl for any other small jobs like salad dressings. The seal on the lid keeps the 11 cup bowl completely dry and separate when the small bowl is inserted inside the large bowl, which took me a little bit to see how it all went together.
Food Processor Kit
The set of items that come with the food processor are wide and numerous, and all of it comes in a neat package to be stored in the cupboard for easy access. It has an easily adjustable blade that you adjust on the fly while it is still cutting, which is a really handy feature. It also comes with a double sided shredding blade, which produces coarse and fine shredding. A multi purpose blade for each the 11 and 3 cup bowls. Last but not least is a dough blade which at this time I have not had the chance to try out.
The speed options for this are high, low and pulse, providing you with just enough control to deal with anything you throw at it.
It has a 3-in-1 ultra wide feed mouth which allows you to put some large stuff through to process. One note on this is that the widest feed tube when opened needs to still be able to slide in to engage the safety start feature, which is a good safety feature but can become a bit of problem if you are trying to put very large things through it.
It has a leak resistant seal around the top that is colored red, which at this point has been leak proof for me with no mess when whipping up salad dressings in the small bowl or processing wet ingredients in the large one either.
